Original Items: This is a wonderful brown leather chamois-lined flying helmet with elastic snap chinstrap. In 1944 the internally wired C type flying helmets were issued, and came with wiring loom and earphones already factory installed. This fine example comes without front goggle straps and features an elastic chinstrap and a built in clip on the right side to accommodate the oxygen mask attachment hook. Helmet is approximate size 57cm.

Earphones are taped and wiring is simulated.

The goggles are wonderful, classic Mk8 goggles featuring leather construction with suede lining steel eye brackets encasing clear glass lenses (no cracks or chips) with a classic cotton strap that is elastic and still “stretchy”!
